When Talking Isn’t Enough, We Help You Feel Better Again

Creative, somatic therapy for overwhelmed adults and parents of neurodivergent children—helping you regulate your nervous system, release stress, and find your calm.

But underneath, everything feels too much.

  • Your child explodes after school—the “Coke Bottle Effect” you don’t know how to manage

  • You’re constantly “on”—at work, at home—masking and pushing through

  • You’re overwhelmed, exhausted, and talking about it hasn’t helped

When your nervous system is overloaded, words aren’t always enough.

This is therapy that doesn’t rely on talking.

At the Kitchen Table, we use:

  • clay, paint, and sensory tools

  • movement, rhythm, and voice

  • nature and grounding techniques

To help you:

  • physically release stress from your body

  • feel calmer and more in control

  • reconnect with yourself—without needing to find the right words

You’re holding it all together on the outside…

Your Journey

What You’ll Walk Away With:

  • A calmer, more regulated nervous system

  • Practical tools you can use in real life

  • The ability to stop masking and feel like yourself again

About Us

The Strategist. The Performer. The Healer.

Hi, I’m Jaynee.

I’ve spent 30 years in corporate leadership, taught hundreds of children to find their voice, and navigated my own experiences of trauma, SEND parenting, and burnout.

This work brings all of that together—creating a space where you don’t have to perform, explain, or hold it all together.

Our Core Values

Creativity

Finding a new way to solve an old problem.

Creativity is not about being "good at art"; it is about getting unstuck. When logic fails and words run out, creativity offers a different language. Whether it is moulding clay to release anger or mapping a timeline to process grief, the act of making something new shifts our biology, turning "I can't" into "I made this.

Connection

Trauma and anxiety thrive in silence. We focus on re-establishing three vital connections: connection to your own body (somatic safety), connection to the natural world (grounding), and connection to a community that says, "Me too." When we feel truly connected and heard, our nervous system finally feels safe enough to rest.

Healing does not happen in isolation.

Resilience

Resilience isn't about being "tough," suppressing your feelings, or wearing a brave face. It is about building a tangible "Kit Bag" of tools that helps you navigate life's waves without drowning. It is about finding your inner "Poso"—the part of you that knows how to paddle through the challenge and find the shore

Building the tools to weather the storm.
Why do these values matter? Because they create the safety you need to heal.

Creativity means we will always find a language for your pain, even when you have no words.

Connection means you are no longer walking this path alone.

Resilience is the promise that we will find your inner ‘Poso’ together. These aren’t just my business values; they are my promise to you.
